After reaching Sangameshwar in Morning; visited Karneshwar Shiv Mandir(Temple), As per historians this temple was built by Pandavas; This is a Monolithic Temple Carved out Of A Single Stone And has no foundation as well built in just 6 months
One has to visit this temple to enjoy superb stone carvings n such perfect symmetrical construction of thousands of years ago.
Next halt was Marleshwar Shiva Temple in caves and Waterfalls nearby. After Temple Visit, had a good break n swim at Waterfalls.
Reached Kundi Village(base of Mahimatgad) in evening; as this area is close to earthquake prone Koyana Dam backwaters; we had an experience of Earthquake at 4am; it was an significant jolt as entire building rocked for few seconds.
Went to Mahimatgad in morning; very scenic place; this is part of chandoli tiger reserve so other than forest greenery n sahyadri mountain picks u see nothing.
