iWatch possible disaster?

At this stage looking at prototype talks, looks like unless one is really big time star trek fan, iWatch may be first disaster from apple as well samsung stable. Just imagine taking calls looking at or speaking into watch as well watching videos, browsing looking at fast outdated gadget of centuries.
On the other hand if it delivers on promises n ease of use, google Glass like gadgets may do to point-shoot cameras what Digital medium has done to Film photography.
